Finding the right saddle for yourself is a very personal decision. What works for one behind may not work for another. But there are some saddles that are just so comfortable it becomes easy to recommend them. Coming out of Italy, the Astute Skylite 3.0 VT is in that category of seriously racy, seriously comfortable.

Handmade in Italy, the Skylite 3.0 VT is an open cutout saddle with 7mm x 9mm full carbon rails. So it will fit just about any clamping system. For the body of the saddle, they have used a nylon external shell for the outer portion with an internal shell made from 15% carbon fiber-reinforced nylon. Wrapping it all there is memory foam padding and a microfiber cover. Twin pads inserted to damp vibration are sandwiched between the lower shell and the rails to help reduce vibrations from the road. And once the memory foam remembers the contours of your bum, the Astute Skylite 3.0 VT really becomes unbelievably comfortable.

At 135mm wide and 275mm long the Astute Skylite 3.0 VT offers a space that will allow you room to move and adjust yourself, while still fitting a race ready profile. It is a slick looking saddle that remains both comfortable and lightweight, ready for crit any race day or double century.
