Though they have been designed like that to provide a desirable level of compliance in the ride, the BB386EVO has been used for the bottom bracket and promises a rigid responsiveness that will make you feel like you are floating up a hill every time you stomp on the pedals out of the saddle.
For the carbon they have turned to T700 E UTS, which is among the lightest carbons in Toray’s line up with a UTS or Ultimate Tensile Strength that will account for the responsiveness of the ride. Another confidence builder is that the frame is made in Italy by experts working with carbon, so you can rail a descent without thinking twice. You can give a lot of the handling credit to the aero bladed fork that has been flared with the same carbon material used on the rest of the frame.
