Schwalbe Racing Ralph - Engineered for Speed
The perfect racer. Profile, compound, carcass. In the third generation of the Racing Ralph everything is designed for speed. In the 29" variant the special arrangement of the blocks and their elongation have been adapted to the longer footprint. Performance advantages of the Racing Ralph wheels are optimally improved.
- NOTE: This is an out and out competition tire! Puncture protection and durability are limited! Also available as a hand-made tubular tire in 26" and 29"!
- NOTE: When converting light weight tubeless-ready MTB racing tires to tubeless, the process can take up to 3 days of consistent sealing and sealant will seep from the sidewalls of the tires. LIGHTWEIGHT MTB racing tires are inherently thin in the sidewalls and will require extra care. Do NOT exceed 35 PSI on tubeless applications!!

- EVO: EVO tires provide a unique combination of low weight, excellent handling characteristics and top end puncture protection. High Tech materials such as the Triple Star compound, for increased grip and lower rolling resistance, HD Speed Guard, to protect against penetration punctures, or the total protection offered by Double Defense with SnakeSkin sidewalls. The steeper angle at which the carcass threads lay provide the essential structure for an EVO tire. This particular carcass pattern increases flexibility and reduces rolling resistance. The EVO carcass is much more difficult and complex to make compared to a standard tire carcass.
- PACESTAR: MTB Race, All Mountain Compound. Super-fast with a combination of low rolling resistance and durability. The tire shoulders were made appreciably softer to improve handling on rough terrain. Easy rolling base layer (base), Fast center (medium), Grippy shoulders (medium soft).
- LITESKIN (LS): LiteSkin: Skin Tires have light, thin sidewalls. Advantages: Weight saving and reduced rolling resistance.
- TUBELESS EASY SNAKESKIN (TL Easy): The SnakeSkin material assures cut-resistant sidewalls and extremely easy Tubeless conversion. A light and flexible carcass makes the tire highly resistant to scrubbing.
