They have widened the rim as well with a 27mm inner width and 31mm outer width, so that you can get pretty chunky with your tire choice. Industry 9 suggests sticking with between 2.2” and 2.5” tires will get you right in that handling-traction sweet spot. But what you will really love about these wheels are the hubs and in particular the super-fast engagement you’ll get in the rear. Any time you are cranking up a steep climb and need to pause your pedaling over an obstacle, you will be so glad the reengagement of the freewheel is instantaneous.

The Industry 9 Trail 270 24H 27.5" weigh just 1480g for the set, though with a recommended rider weight limit of 210 pounds (95kg). With the 24 hole option, if you want to convert it to Boost, you’ll have to swap hub shells, but other than that it will work easily with QR, 15mm, 12x142, 9mm through options simply with switching out endcaps. And like with all I9 System Wheels, these are highly customizable. For an additional fee, there are 11 custom anodized colors for your hubs and spokes.
