The M700 series for Enve has received maybe the most substantial improvement to enduro and all mountain wheels ever with their Protective Rim Strip technology. Integral to the rim construction – that is to say this is not an option, but something you need to have the wheel function – the protective rim strip acts as a durable bumper made from a special secret material that will act as a buffer between the rim and the tire. It will eliminate pinch flats and will protect the rim when you are running especially low tire pressures. So broken rims will also be rare, giving you tons of confidence to go as far and as fast as you want.

And since the internal rim width of the M735s is a very generous 35mm, you can easily run 2.8 inch tires at whatever tire pressure you think you need for the ultimate in grip and control, without having to worry about pinched flats or – horror of horrors – damaging the rim itself. Enduro riding is all about confidence and control, so this development could be a game changer. You won’t feel shy about raging down any trail, knowing that you won’t be likely to suffer the types and frequency of flats that you typically have.

The enhance the durability of the wheels, you will have 32 spokes front and rear with the molded spoke and valve holes to increase the stability of the wheel by not compromising the carbon through drilling the holes. Available in 27.5 inch wheels and 29ers, the Enve M730s are heavy duty all mountain wheels that weigh what many XC wheelsets do. Depending on the hub choice you go with the 27.5s will weigh in the 1780-1970g range while the 29ers are between 1900 and 2100g, again depending on hub choice.
