The Ibis Ripley is a lighter and cleaner bike that provides an even greater amount of stiffness. With a greater emphasis on their geometry, this two-niner carbon mountain bike was ultimately refined for extreme comfort and performance. Though it may appear to look like a single-pivot design, the 29er actually uses the dual eccentric DW link suspension with two pairs of internal eccentric bearings to allow for close placement of the dual pivots.
During the development of the Ripley, Ibis wanted to build a 29er that handled and steered like a nimble 26er. The result yielded a bike with a shorter rear-center, low standover, lower handlebar height and bottom bracket along with a slacker head tube angle and longer front center for a more agile, stable, and confident feel on descents.
It’s also worth noting that this 29er carbon fiber trail bike is made to be compatible with 120mm and 140mm forks and includes two water bottle mounts - one inside the main triangle and one underneath. Whatever it is you're looking for in a bike, the Ripley is sure to deliver something that you’ll enjoy. You can take the newest trail bike out for a fun ride in the redefined and amazingly-designed 2016 Ripley.
