The Litespeed T2 has been designed to be the ideal bike for the cyclist who values ride feel and performance over bling and fads. Made from high quality titanium that has been precisely tuned into tubesets, the T2 will guarantee a comfortable ride without sacrificing stiffness or durability.
When building their frames, Litespeed uses oversized, shape-specific tube designs for stiffness and compliance where needed. That means that Litespeed has made certain to use only the amount of material that each frame size would require. Consequently the XS for example, has not been given the tube thickness of the XL since smaller riders are not going to be putting out the watts that cyclists a foot taller will be pumping. Their high performing, lightweight titanium frames will give you the rigidity and responsiveness that you would hope to get in a stiff carbon bike, but without losing the amazing ride quality that is what makes titanium such a great material for cycling.
The oversized, triple butted, asymmetric chainstays ensure maximum power transfer while using a PF30 bottom bracket means that that most important intersecting point can be mega stiff and suit nearly any crankset on the market. The bottom bracket shell is internally and externally butted to save additional weight while beefing up the performance. And as for the handling, the Litespeed carbon tapered fork combines with the 44mm outer diameter head tube and its T2 level butting to keep the front end feeling solid and sharp.
The frame has been designed to support internal cable routing for electric and mechanical groupsets so that you can build the T2 up to be as up-to-date and elite as any dream bike should be. This is the traditional rim braked version of the T2, but it is also available at Wrench Science in a disc brake version. Though it’d be difficult to decide between the two, there is something to be said for how clean and classic the Litespeed T2 looks leaning against the coffee shop wall on your mid ride break. Litespeed has made this bike to last through years of heavy use and put a smile on your face every ride.
