Enve SES 6.7 - Aero-Efficiency and Stability

If you are looking to go long at your road races or are ambitious to post your best times at triathlons, the Enve SES 6.7 carbon wheels provide the perfect balance between aero-efficiency and stability to help you outpace the competition.

In spite of their seriously deep profile, with 60mm front and 67mm rear, the SES 6.7 wheels weigh an impressive 1497 grams. The low weight and stiff rim ensure a responsive performance, which is such a difference from other deep dish wheels that seem to need several rotations before you can start to get them up to speed. Typically wheels that deep will also be a beast in strong side winds. But Enve has also solved that problem thanks to the unique rim shape that prevents you from getting buffeted in gusts. Having the slightly deeper rear wheel also helps keep the front more stable while enjoying the aero benefits of the 67mm depth.

With a 23mm internal rim width, they are slightly narrower compared to the SES 4.5s, largely because Enve doesn’t expect anyone to want to take these on hard-hitting gravel. But they are still aero optimized for 27-28mm tires, so you can count on the comfort that that wider rubber will offer. And since these are tubeless only, you can run them at the air pressure that will keep them comfy and efficient.

Enve Premium Road Hub in the SES 6.7 Wheelset for Maximum Power Transfer

The Enve Premium Road Hub forms the backbone of this wheelset. Efficient, durable, and easily maintained, this hub design pulls together the whole package. You could say that Enve has taken all its learned about hubs from partnering with the best brands on the market, and designed their own hub that blows everyone out of the water. Starting from the hub shell geometry, the flange diameter, spacing and spoke hole lacing work together to ensure a stiff hub body with maximum power transfer.

Using cold-forged and machined 6061 aluminum keeps the body light as well as stiff while the custom made Premium Grade Stainless Steel Bearings and full stainless steel races guarantee long-lasting, non-corrosive performance even if you live in a particularly wet climate. Finally, the perfect bearing preload means that every wheel coming out of the factory has a tuned wave washer on the axle resulting in a long bearing life and maintenance free design.

The tubeless-only Enve SES 6.7 carbon wheels for disc brakes will take any tri, TT, or aero-oriented road bike to the next level. Weighing in at under 1500 grams, these wheels can even go toe to toe with most climbing-specific hoops on the market, with the added benefit of seriously efficient aero performance.
