2017 Parlee Z-Zero Disc

There is a special process that Parlee uses to create its frames. Parlee has always been a company ahead of its time and the process started way back on the Z1. The frames are created using carbon to carbon structure instead of lugs or tube to tube construction. The Parlee method is lighter, more precise and unmatched in strength. It creates a unified structure that has almost zero redundant material. These tubes end up being 10 to 15% lighter than the tubes on the already light Z1.

So aside from the innovations with the construction of the frame, Parlee innovated in other ways as well. In an industry where we are told to pick a size, they offer 100% customization. Parlee collects as much information from you as they can- your biometrics, your riding style, and they don’t begin work on your frame until they have all the information.

And Parlee is famous for its custom paint. You can choose from 25 colors, with the ability to mix and match, there are three schemes and two finishes. You can also use an online configurator to see how it will look. Or if you prefer, you can work with one of our Parlee designers to create something totally unique. Your bike is a blank slate, and all paint work is done right here in the USA.

Another way Parlee is innovating the road bike world is with their new head tube. The general consensus has always been that the 1500 (38mm) inch head tube was ideal, but Parlee has proved that their smaller, 1250 (32mm) inch smaller head tube is the best balance for road bikes.
