The Ibis Silk SL uses an all new layup of ultra high modulus carbon fiber, resulting in both a weight savings and a gain in strength. New carbon fiber headcups further reduce the weight, resulting in a 58cm frame weight of under 900g. That's about two pounds total.
Cosmetically, there's an all new graphics package and many of you will be happy to hear we're now offering colors. In addition to the standard gloss clear (which shows the beautiful carbon weave), we also are offering British Racing Green and a Rich Red.
Best of all the new Silk SL is the same price as last year with no upcharge for a painted frame.
