2016 Cipollini NK1K Disc
In typical dramatic fashion, Mario Cipollini has unveiled his latest work, the NK1K aero carbon road bike. The basics: It’s a monocoque frame that features a slightly more upright, neutral rider position, more stable geometry, and improved ride comfort.
Although it has been described as an “all-rounder”, the NK1K is still an ultimate performance bike at heart with an ultra-stiff BB386 bottom bracket and composed of the same high-modulus T1000 M46J carbon that the Cipollini RB1K uses.
Compared to the RB1K the NK1K has a slightly taller head tube at 138mm(on a size medium), a shallower seat angle of 73.5, and a shorter effective top tube; all these will allow for a more upright position for those longer races and rides. This frameset is offered with disc brakes with thru-axles front and rear
Like all Cipollini’s, the NK1K is Italian to its core—engineered in Verona, built in Florence, hand painted in Pisa, and assembled in Padova. Never lack confidence in Cipollini.
