Redesigned, but undeniably BMC. The new 2011 Team Machine SLR01 strikes the perfect balance between lightweight, comfort, and performance.
With nearly one decade of ProTour pedigree, you will not find an inch of this frame that hasn't been refined to perfection.
BMC has approached the concept of comfort from many angles and every solution is present in the 2011 Team Machine SLR01; comprising a system they refer to as "Tuned Compliance Concept." The seat stays, seat post, and fork have all been designed to provide ample vertical compliance to keep you comfortable and in perfect contact with road, while always keeping an eye on performance.
As what seems to be an all too common practice in bicycles these days, BMC provides us with plenty of three-letter acronyms to describe their design process; no matter what they're calling it, it's working! Their ideologies, vision, and practices have produced a bike that is undeniably BMC; at the pinnacle of performance and design.
As promised, this is the same bike that Cadel Evans has been riding throughout the 2011 racing season, and is currently attempting to win the Tour de France on. Down to his SRM, bottle cages and SRM Powercontrol VII color choice, it is all by his choice that this bike has come to be. I will happily change out or order to your specification crank length and gearing, and cassette gearing to better suite you as a rider.
