VHPC BOTTOM BRACKET (Very High Pressure Compressed Carbon): The bottom bracket is the heart of the frame. In order to maximize pedaling efficiency, LOOK has developed a proprietary technique called " Compressed carbon technology". The precise positioning of the carbon fibers inside the mould combined with very high pressure compression during the moulding process produces a very light and very stiff bottom bracket shell. The weight of the bottom bracket is only 130 grams with a 170n/mm stiffness rating once the frame has been assembled. You feel the bike accellerate as you transmit power with each stroke.
