It has taken many years for us to build a true cyclo-cross bike, this is not hybrid, no touring bike, no "make do" machine of the past. The CX is the first true production cyclo-cross bike from Litespeed. 3/2.5 Litespeed titanium delivers durability and strength like no other cross frame material. Geometry developed from feedback out in the field..."Literally" Team Maxxis. No other cross bike has the experience and knowledge that went into the CX.
GET2 tube shaping maximizes stiffness while smoothing out the harsh conditions of the terrain.
Head tube is machined and double butted.
G.E.T. top tube is tapered, drawn, ovalized, machined and double butted. Unique to the CX, the top tube is horizontally ovalized at seat tube cluster to aid ease of carrying.
G.E.T. down tube is machined, Bi-axially ovalized, WRAPped and custom butted.
S-bend, tapered seat stays designed to enhance braking performance and reduce rider fatigue
G.E.T. chain stays are tapered, machined, bent, ovalized and taper butted.
Race geometry designed by one of the worlds greatest bicycle designers, a combination of handling and responsiveness only found in a Litespeed.
