The Ti2 is reliable, smooth, all day performance packed into a sophisticated hand-made Italian frame. Recently earning the prestigious ISO 9001-2000 certification for their product quality and consitency, you can be confident DeRosa's 2008 Ti2 will meet all of your performance needs. With every step of the Ti2's design and production overseen by Doriano DeRosa (Ugo's 2nd born), a disciple of his father and a master craftsman of Titanium, you can ride assured that your bike will be a one of a kind masterpiece. The frame starts as a CNC machined head tube with integrated headset cups for added front end stiffness. The head tube is precision welded to a Ti 3Al / 2.5v front triangle whose tube walls are doubled in thickness at the frames stress points. For 2008 the rear triangle of the Ti2's frame is made of a slightly lighter much stiffer Ti 6Al / 4v titanium alloy which gives the rider a snappier response during acceleration and climbing without sacrificing overall weight and comfort. If your looking to put alot of miles on your next bike or just demand comfort, performance and reliability for the daily commute, the DeRosa Ti2 is built for you!
