For all of you who like to carve the road... Meet the Idol. Recently earning the prestigious ISO 9001-2000 certification for their product quality and consitency, you can be confident DeRosa's all new Idol will meet all of your performance needs. DeRosa designed this frame for those who value agility, durability, and versatility. The 2008 Idol's frame is a triple monocoque design which uses different sheets of standard and high modulus carbon fibre strategically layered and wrapped to acheive the highest strength to low weight ratio. DeRosa chose a compact front triangle coupled with slightly rearward arcing seat stays in order to acheive maximum power transfer during accelerations and an extremely planted feel during cornering. The oversized head tube and integrated headset married to DeRosa's full carbon fibre front fork combine front end stability, strength and comfort for all day performance. With it's fully integrated seat post ( 2cm of up/down adjustability), the Idol gets the pro-tour appeal without the price tag. The Idol is at home on the longest climbs and the most fierce descents.
